Introduction

Managed databases in about 200 milliseconds, from a REST API, an MCP server or the dashboard.

blaze provisions managed databases in about 200 milliseconds and lets you run SQL against them without a driver. Everything in these docs works from an API key: the dashboard is one client of the same API.

PostgreSQL, MySQL and MariaDB tenants each get their own database and role on a shared instance. MongoDB tenants get their own database and a user that owns only that database, also on a shared instance. Redis gets a dedicated container per tenant, because its ACLs cannot contain a tenant. libSQL is modelled and on its way.

Three ways in

  • MCP server. The fastest way in. Your agent registers itself over OAuth and gets seven tools. See MCP server.
  • REST API. Bearer-token JSON over HTTPS. See Authentication and Databases.
  • Dashboard. The console at /projects, for when you want to look rather than script. Passwords stay masked until you ask and can be rotated without dropping data, storage and connections are charted from the engine itself, and every database comes with a query console and a data browser.
